Remove pillows made with feathers or other natural fillers, and make a switch to synthetic pillows. Dust mites will visit these pillows less than those with natural materials. You have to wash them all the time in order to effectively rid any allergic reactions that might occur but they are still better for you.
If you love the scent of sun-dried, clean laundry, consider a lightly fragranced laundry detergent or fabric softener. Leaving your wet clothes outside can give them a nice aroma. But it also significantly increases the possible number of allergens your laundry will collect. This is a good for those that don’t have a sensitivity towards fragrance and dye.
