The outbreak of swine fu has affected most of the places in this flu season. In this epidemic American continent was at high risk of swine flu. Almost every state of United States, Mexico and Canada were dealing with cases of swine flu.
Among the various state Washington was also at high risk. There are about 39 counties in wa altogether with 6,549,224 human population. At the start of flu season there were about 128 cases of swine flu in Washington State. The wa state swine flu map of counties shows that five counties were highly affected with swine flu viruses. There were six cases identified in the beginning of flu season out of which three were in King County, two in Snohomish County and one in Spokane County. In the middle of the flu season the confirmed cases of swine flu went up to 70 in King County, 18 in Snohomish County, five in Pierce County, two in Spokane, two in Whatcom, two in Clark counties, one in Thurston and one in Skagit. There were 10 more probable cases of swine flu in King County and nine in Snohomish County.

As the students are more prone to swine flu virus, they were asked to get vaccinated even though they were following standard precautions and not going to schools. The people were provided free treatment, medicines and helpline numbers to get information or any type of help related to swine flu viruses.
This way the health department of wa state was trying to cope with the swine flu virus and decrease the number of cases from the wa state swine flu map of counties to make wa free from the H1N1 virus.
